Q: What payment methods do you accept?

We welcome payments thru PayPal only.

Q: How will the purchase I make from your site, Bernie, show in my paypal account or my credit card statement?

The purchase you make on our site will show as SIXSTARBERNIE or SIXSTARBER.

Q: Can I pay with a check or money order?

The quickest payment method is via PayPal. We do also welcome e-checks thru PayPal. PLEASE NOTE: like a paper check, an e-check will take several days to clear our bank before we are able to process your order. The faster you get payment to us the faster you’ll get your products! We do not accept money orders.

Q: Are the products shown on sixstarbernie.com in stock?

Yes. All products displayed are available for immediate purchase.

Q: Are all orders placed binding?

No, there are occasions when a product has an error in listing or price. We reserve the right to cancel any order at any time for any reason without notice. I make every effort to avoid such action, but sometimes it is unavoidable. sixstarbernie.com is a private business and we reserve the right to refuse business if we are not comfortable with a transaction for any reason, including security issues such as origin of email, IP address, ship to address, phone number, or any of the other provided information. We reserve the right to terminate any transaction without notice.

Q: Am I able to cancel an order I just placed?

If your order has not been shipped, yes, but please contact us promptly using the form in the SixStarBernie Contact Us section with the subject PLEASE CANCEL MY ORDER REQUEST. If your order has already been shipped you will need to please follow our return procedure using the form in the SixStarBernie Contact Us section with the subject PRODUCT RETURN REQUEST.

Q: I’m buying online, do I have to pay sales tax?

No, only if you live in Washington State - and SixStarBernie.com charges only 7.5% - we eat the rest - it’s like getting a further discount off your purchase! If you are in the automotive trade here in WA, please contact us BEFORE YOU BUY using the form in the SixStarBernie Contact Us section with the subject WST RESELLER TAX EXEMPTION REQUEST. Be sure to include your reseller permit number. We are a real business licensed by the State of Washington and we are tasked with proper record keeping of all transactions.

Q: What is the guarantee on products I buy from sixstarbernie.com?

As an independent reseller, each product we sell is covered against manufacturer’s defects for 12 months or 12,000 miles [from date of purchase] by the respective manufacturer and are subject to inspection by that respective manufacturer. NOTE: Claims will be rejected if it is determined that the part failed due to improper installation or installer damage. A special word about Subaru head gasket jobs: Always properly clean and repair mating parts - including cylinder head resurfacing. Short cuts always make for disappointment.

Q: I need my parts fast, why is it taking longer than I thought it would to get my order?

Ww always make every attempt to fulfill orders in a timely manner, typically 24-48 hours, M-F, excluding holidays and weekends. We will never promise that you will receive your parts by an exact date. This is due to third party carrier delivery. All delivery dates are estimates only. NOTE: If you have an emergency and need parts YESTERDAY you may want to buy directly from your local Subaru dealer.

Q: What are the shipping charges?

For within the USA, Puerto Rico, Guam, and all other US Protectorates we offer USPS shipping in the forms of 1st Class, Priority, and Express. You may select your desired shipping method at checkout. Shipping costs are calculated automatically by (1) weight) and/or dimensions of the order, (2) the type of shipping method, and (3) the distance of travel. The total weight of your order will be calculated in the shopping cart for you to see - before you submit your order.

Q: Can you combine my new order with a recent previous order to save on shipping?

We will certainly try to, but please know due to the volume of our business and shipping deadlines, usually we are unable to package new orders with previous orders. Please contact us as soon as possible using the form in the SixStarBernie Contact Us section with the subject PLEASE COMBINE MY ORDERS. We suggest waiting to place an order until you feel you have selected all of the products you need.

Q: How much time do I have after I receive my order to make sure my order is complete?

Please inspect your order completely when it arrives for damage; for missing product(s) refer to your invoice. We allow three (3) business days after your order has been confirmed received by USPS for any claims of missing or damaged product(s) to be investigated. Please contact us using the form in the SixStarBernie Contact Us section with the subject ORDER INTEGRITY REQUEST. Please allow us the opportunity to make things right for you. We are very easy to get along with - little bit of communication goes along way.

Q: What does the Holiday or Vacation Schedule mean?

We are closed for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, July Fourth, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We take our yearly two (2) week Vacation each July. PLEASE NOTE: In-transit delays may occur due to high volume on and around each of those holidays. If you are planning to place an order that will be a gift for a particular holiday, PLEASE order early!

Q: Will I get a tracking number?

Yes. All orders that ship will automatically produce an email regarding the tracking information, provided that you submit an email address on the order. Some email providers or security programs will block such emails, so it’s a good idea to be aware of your security settings and check your spam folder often. Orders received by 1PM Pacific Standard Time typically are processed the same day received or by the next business day that the order is placed. If you are concerned that you have not received a tracking email when you should have, please contact us by using the form in the SixStarBernie Contact Us section with the subject TRACKING NUMBER REQUEST. PLEASE NOTE: Orders are processed Monday-Friday, excluding holidays and weekends.

Q: Will all my products be shipped together at the same time in the same package?

Typically yes.

Q: Do you package and ship your products with our environment in mind?

Yes. Most of our packaging materials we use are recycled and biodegradable with the exception of packing tape and bubble wrap - which we always try to minimize. We also reduce redundant product packaging - an example would be one large plastic bag may contain an entire “kit” that we assemble of individual OEM, Genuine parts. The surplus individual plastic parts bags are recycled here in WA. We do our best not to ship more trash around the USA and the world.

Q: What if my package is lost or the shipper can’t deliver my package?

We make every effort to get your order to you as soon as possible and we package all orders with care. Occasionally, a shipper may lose or misdirect a package. The most common reason for an undeliverable package is wrong address - such as transposed numbers or omission of apartment number, so please be sure your address is 100% correct when ordering. For a package that is lost, delayed, or misdirected, please don't panic – please contact us promptly using the form in the SixStarBernie Contact Us section with the subject SHIPPING INTEGRITY REQUEST. If the problem cannot be fixed in a timely manner, we may re-ship your order. PLEASE NOTE: we reserve final control on how to proceed with any given situation. In the event that we re-ship an order we may need your help/cooperation in regards to retrieving double orders that may eventually show up at your address. We do not guarantee any delivery or time frames and will not provide any compensation for labor, storage or any other fees incurred as a result of losses, damage or mistakes.

Q: Product returns, and what if I received my order, but now I don't want some or all of the parts?

Please note whether the product is returnable or non-returnable. Each product available on sixstarbernie.com is labeled as either returnable or non-returnable. If a product is labeled returnable, we will accept a return up to thirty (30) days after you have received the order. Product(s) must be returned in their original unopened packages and in as-new condition. You are responsible for the return shipping fees and must first please is to use the form in the SixStarBernie Contact Us section with the subject RETURN PRODUCT REQUEST to proceed. Once we receive, inspect, and accept the return you will be refunded the full amount of the product (or products) minus any shipping cost and possible 15% restock fee. Please be sure to package the product in the same manner in which you received it - we are unable to accept a damaged product due to careless return packaging. Please do not return merchandise to us COD or Postage Due - these returns will be refused. No returns after 30 days. If a product is labeled non-returnable, we will not accept a return at any time. There are many reasons why a product may be labeled non-returnable, the most common being an electrical product.

Thank you. As much as I would like to chat Subie how-to my insurance company won’t allow it due to liability. I hope you understand. The majority of our Customers either have a trusted Subie tech who installs sixstarbernie.com products or they are Subie savvy and they do the job themselves.
